Markham, Ontario, Canada (June 4, 2022) — Tim Morehouse veteran saber fencer Lisa Marsh took silver in Vet-50 at the tenth anniversary Can/Am Veterans’ Cup.
In a day filled with bouting, Marsh first competed in Veteran Combined Women’s Saber. The eight-woman pool included US National Veteran Team members Jane Eyre, Ellen O’Leary and Jude Offerle along with top-ranked Canadian fencers. She took seventh place.
Later, the group separated into age categories, where Marsh handily took out her first opponent 10-3. In the gold medal bout, Marsh was taken out 10-1 to take the silver.
