Experience Was Gained at the First Master's Youth Cup of 2021 Season

New York (Oct 23, 2021) — How do you learn how to be a good competitor? You practice competing.

And the next generation of great competitors turned out for the first Master’s Youth Saber Cup series, held Saturday. Oct. 23 at the Tim Morehouse Fencing Club West End location (West End Collegiate Church at 77th Street and West End Avenue, New York).

There were highly contested events for fencers from the Y-8 level to Y-12 with many more young women turning out. Fencers came from Tim Morehouse Fencing Club, Cobra Fencing Club and Integrity Fencing Studio.

It was a great experience to prepare beginner and intermediate fencers for future regional and national events. More experienced fencers also saw some great action.

The next opportunity to practice at the competition level is Saturday, Oct. 30 in the same location. The Master’s Youth Saber Cup #2 will feature events for Y-8 fencers up to Y-14 fencers. Please click HERE to register.
