Philadelphia, PA (July 12, 2021) — It’s a wrap.
After 10 days of heady competition, the Summer Nationals and July Challenge wrapped up with Division III events in all weapons.
While Tim Morehouse Fencing Club fencers represented in all of the events, only one fencer made it to the top of the medal stand. Caroline Slaski earned fifth place in women’s foil and was in turn rewarded with a D21 rating.
Congratulations to all of the fencers who competed this week. In a season filled with as much adversity as 2020-2021 was, simply making it this far makes you all winning competitors. The coaches deserve congratulations as well.
