Salt Lake City, UT (July 25, 2021) — The Tim Morehouse Fencing Club fencers fought to the end.

The July Challenge wrapped up at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City on Sunday and with it, TMFC fencers stayed the course until the bitter end.

It was tough going for the Cadet men’s saber fencers from the pools to the direct eliminations with no one really having a breakout day.

In Junior men’s foil, all three of the TMFC fencers finished pools in the top half and held on during direct eliminations, with Richard Lin (23) reaching the top-32, Henry Zhang (59) making the top-64 and Nickolas Rusadze hanging on the finish in the top half.

It was definitely a day of lessons for the fencers and overall, a tournament full of learning experiences. Congratulations on a strong finish.
