Manalapan, NJ (Feb 12-13, 2022) — Let’s call it the “Fabulous Four.”
Four fencers from Tim Morehouse Fencing Club turned in gold medal performances this weekend at the Integrity RJCC and Local Vet at Sportika in Manalapan, NJ.
Victoria Lin kicked off the streak, earning gold in Cadet Women’s Foil along with her E22 rating. Michael Grigoriev kept the ball rolling, taking first place in Y-10 Men’s Foil. On the saber side, Connor Chung hit the top of the medal stand in Y-12 Men’s Saber. Matthew Kim brought it home with gold in Junior Men’s Saber, also earning his C22 rating.
Enzo Bera had a double medal weekend — he won eighth in Cadet Men’s Saber and tied for third in Y-14 Men’s Saber. Other medal winners include Lisa Marsh (8th, VWS), Eleanor Li (7th, CWF), Pompie Yannopoulos (5th, Y-12 WS), Hartigan Deely (5th, Y-12 MS), Charlotte Choi (8th, Y-10 WS), and the Y-10 Men’s Saber trio — Morgan So at third, Dylan So at fifth and Aidan Song at seventh.
