There Were Breakthrough Performances at the Boston RYC

Boston, MA (May 4-5, 2022) — Hard work throughout the season resulted in medals for several Tim Morehouse Fencers.

Ethan Kim earned both gold in Y-12 Men’s Saber and sixth place in Y-14 Men’s Saber, showing how his work and perseverance could pay off. Also making a breakthrough effort was Hartigan Deely, who earned eighth place in Y-12 Men’s Saber. It was his first RYC medal.

One of the most dedicated saber students, Olivia Mermegas won a bronze medal in Y-12 Women’s Saber.

Aidan Song also earned a bronze medal in Y-10 Men’s Saber. This is his best result yet in his six short months of fencing.

Coco Guven earned sixth place in Y-14 Women’s Saber approaching the end of the season in a strong position.

Winning eight place in Y-12 Women’s Foil, Yunong Lin made the RYC medal stand for the first time.
