The veteran fencers from Tim Morehouse Fencing Club showed us how it’s done at the April NAC, held at Saint Louis’s America’s Convention Center.
World team member Madelon Rosenfeld took bronze in Vet-70 Women’s Foil, putting her in a great position for yet another world berth.
Vet-40 men’s saber fencer Aaron Waxler made the medal stand yet again in his first year fencing as a veteran. This time he took seventh place.
Division I and Junior fencers also racked up some great results. They include:
Robert Wang made top-16 in Junior Men’s Saber and top-64 in Division I Men’s Saber;
Alina Zhang made top-16 in Junior Women’s Foil and top-32 in Division I Women’s Foil;
Nickolas Rusadze made top-16 in Divison I Men’s Foil and top-64 in Junior Men’s Foil;
Madison Four-Garcia made top-32 in Junior Women’s Saber and top-64 in Division I Women’s Saber;
Shaun Kim made top-32 in Junior Men’s Saber and top-64 in Division I Men’s Saber;
Madison Duckett made top-64 in Junior Women’s Saber;
Iris Yang made top-64 in Junior Women’s Foil; and
Ella Calise made top-64 in Junior Women’s Foil.
