The Motor City SYC was Medal Filled for TMFC

Pontiac, MI (April 6-7, 2024) — The Motor City was good to Tim Morehouse Fencing Club.

For the foil and saber fencers who made the trip, the rewards included competing against fencers they had not often seen and winning medals.

TMFC had a number of double-medal winners.

Miles Chambers kicked off with gold in Y-12 Men’s Saber and bronze in Y-14 Men’s Saber. Charlotte Choi took bronze in Y-12 Women’s Saber and sixth place in Y-14 Women’s Saber. William Lucas won bronze in Y-12 Men’s Saber and sixth place in Y-14 Men’s Saber. Morgan So was a double eighth-place winner in both Y-12 Men’s Saber and Y-14 Men’s Saber.

Gold medals were won by Leo Shapiro in Y-10 Men’s Saber and Savannah Li in Y-12 Women’s Foil. Isaac Yook earned bronze in Y-14 Men’s Saber.
