Round Rock, TX (Dec 18-20, 2021) — TMFC fencers threw caution to the wind when it came to the adage, “Don’t mess with Texas.”
Tim Morehouse Fencing Club fencers turned out in healthy numbers at the Austin Challenge SYC/RCC and walked away with some pretty impressive results.
Y-12 were golden events for TMFC overall with Grace Feng taking first in women’s foil and Ethan Kim taking first in men’s saber.
And there were silvers. Brynnley McKee took silver in Cadet Women’s Saber, Iris Yang took silver in Y-12 Women’s Foil and Zihou Dai took silver in Y-10 Men’s Saber. He was joined on the podium by his teammate Miles Chambers, who took 7th. Brendan Lee tied for fifth in Y-12 Men’s Foil.
