Why did you choose Notre Dame? I chose Notre Dame because my parents met and married there, and it, fortunately, has the number one fencing program in the country.

What do you plan on majoring in? It will either be in the school of business or in the school of arts and letters.

What is the best part of fencing for you? The best part of fencing for me is the mental strength it requires to win bouts and formulate strategies. I also love the aspect of physical fitness that is necessary to compete at a high level.

What do you hope to accomplish with fencing in college? In college, I hope to be an NCAA individual champion for men's saber.

What will you miss most about TMFC? I will miss the camaraderie and my friends at TMFC.

Congratulations Henry!
