Philadelphia, PA (July 3, 2021) — The Tim Morehouse Fencing Club showed they meant business.
On day one of the Summer National Championships and the July North American Cup in Philadelphia, TMFC fencers started the tournament off with two medals and a number of impressive performances.
William Morrill earned 8th place in Cadet Men’s Saber along with his B21 rating. This is Morrill’s first national medal in Cadet.
Henry Zhang earned 8th place in Cadet Men’s Foil.
In Cadet Women’s Saber, Amanda Li reached a personal best at 14th place and Adele Bois made the top 32, coming in at 32nd.

Next up at Summer Nationals will be Division I Men and Cadet Women in all weapons — saber, épée and foil.
Summer National Championships and the July North American Cup runs from Saturday, July 3rd through Monday, July 12 at the Philadelphia Convention Center in the Market East section of Philadelphia, PA.
Tim Morehouse Fencing Club qualified and sent more than 60 fencers to compete in all three weapons from Y-12 to Veteran events.
