Summer Nationals Day 2: Division I Men, Cadet Women

Philadelphia, PA (July 4, 2021) — The women of Tim Morehouse Fencing Club showed the way.

On day two of the Summer National Championships and the July North American Cup in Philadelphia, TMFC fencer Madison Four-Garcia medaled in Cadet Women’s Saber, the last Cadet event in her fencing career, leading a list of impressive performances for the deep pool of Cadet women.

In Division I Men’s Saber, Nicka Lortkipanidze barely missed the medal stand, taking ninth place.

Next up at Summer Nationals will be Veteran Women’s Saber, and Junior Women in all weapons — saber, épée and foil.

Summer National Championships and the July North American Cup runs from Saturday, July 3rd through Monday, July 12 at the Philadelphia Convention Center in the Market East section of Philadelphia, PA.

Tim Morehouse Fencing Club qualified and sent more than 60 fencers to compete in all three weapons from Y-12 to Veteran events.
