Summer Nationals Day 8: Division IA, Y-10 Women and Men

Philadelphia (July 10, 2021) — The future at the Tim Morehouse Fencing Club looks bright.

The sheer number of fencers competing and reaching the top half of competitors in the youth events is promising for the club’s future.

Iris Yang was the most decorated fencer of the club, earning medals in Y-10, Y-12 and Y-14. Aster Oh led the way with the Y-10 men’s saber fencers, earning bronze, just ahead of Benjamin Gurevich, who earned fifth place. There were four more fencers in Y-10 men’s saber that made the top half.

In Division IA Men’s Foil, Nickolas Rusadze reached the medal stand, earning his A21 rating, while the Division I women in foil and saber all made the top third of their events.

Congratulations fencers!
