Philadelphia, PA (July 9, 2021) - It was a big day for the Y-12 fencers at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club.
First, the Y-12 women came on strong in saber, with Brynnley McKee earning sixth place. Iris Yang was on target in Y-12 foil, earning a seventh place medal.
Emilio Gonzalez proved his mettle in men’s Y-12 saber, fighting hard to earn a silver medal and bringing another medal for Coach Achiko Lortikipanidze.
Congratulations to our Y-12 fencers and a special congratulations to Madelon Rosenfeld on her gold medal in Vet-70 Women’s Foil on Wednesday.

Summer National Championships and the July North American Cup runs from Saturday, July 3rd through Monday, July 12 at the Philadelphia Convention Center in the Market East section of Philadelphia, PA.
Tim Morehouse Fencing Club qualified and sent more than 60 fencers to compete in all three weapons from Y-12 to Veteran events.
