Port Chester, NY (October 1, 2022) — How do you learn how to be a great competitor?
Compete, compete, compete. It is so important for young fencers to learn to compete and the only real way to do that is to compete.
Luckily, there are internal and intra-club tournaments that are the perfect opportunity for kids to test their skills without the pressure of being at an RYC or SYC.
And test them they did. The Y-8 and Y-10 saber fencers got their feel wet at the Morehouse Saber Youth Cup #1 and some of them even fenced up into the Y-12 category. All earned valuable skills and experience.
Congratulations to our fencers, their coaches and parents.
