King of Prussia, PA (Feb 26 - 27, 2022) — Miles Chambers had a double medal weekend.
The young saber fencer earned gold in Y-10 Men’s Saber Sunday morning after bringing home a 7th place medal in Y-12 Men’s Saber the day before. Incredibly, he returned to New York for fencing class after winning his gold. That’s dedication.
TMFC fencers Timothy Chang and Avery Marcus also won medals in Y-10 Men’s Saber — bronze and sixth place, respectively.
Foilist Amabel Wang won bronze in Y-10 Women’s Foil, Iris Yang won fifth place in Y-14 Women’s Foil and was joined by teammate Eleanor Li on the medal stand with seventh place. Catherine Zhou also earned a seventh-place finish in Cadet Women’s Foil.
Brendan Lee finished in eighth place in the Y-14 Men’s Foil event and earned his E22 rating.
Congratulations fencers.
