Tim Morehouse Foil Women Dominated at the Duel of the East Coast

Oaks, PA (January 28-29, 2023) — Tim Morehouse Fencing Club's women’s foil fencers racked up medals at the Dual of the East Coast ROC/RJCC.

Eleanor Li walked away with an astounding four medals — bronze in Division II Women’s Foil, fifth in Junior Women’s Foil, sixth in Division IA Women’s Foil and silver in Cadet Women’s foil, earning a D23 rating.

Selena Zhang took two medals — bronze in Junior Women’s Foil, earning her D23 rating and eighth in Division IA Women’s Foil. Ella Calise tied for bronze in Division IA Women’s Foil.

Gabriel McCarthy made it a multi-medal weekend as well. He won sixth place in Junior Men’s Saber and Division IA Men’s Saber and fifth place in Cadet Men’s Saber.

Matthew Kim took fifth place in Junior Men’s Saber. Coco Guven earned sixth place in Cadet Women’s Saber. Connor Chung took seventh in Cadet Men’s Saber. And Sofia Schaible earned eighth place in Division II Women’s Saber.
