Young Fencers Make Their Mark on The Morehouse Youth Cup #4

New York, NY (January 29, 2023) — They’re getting good at this.

The youngest Tim Morehouse Fencing Club fencers are really getting the hang of competing. For the fourth Morehouse Youth Cup of the 2022-2023 season, there were new fencers on the top of the medal stand and solid performances all around.

In Y-8 Mixed Saber, Harrison Wang took gold for the first time. He was in the top spot from the pools and was able to hold onto it with consistent fencing.

In Y-10 Mixed Saber, Blake Lee earned the top spot. His gold medal and that of the silver medal winner Nora Louisa McCarthy were hard fought with several tight Direct Elimination bouts behind them.

Congratulations on all the hard work.
