Rocky Point, NY (April 20-21, 2024) — It felt like a rerun of last weekend.
Saber fencers Enzo Bera and Varvara Mankova both earned their way to the medal stand again this weekend.
And Nickolas Rusadze, no stranger to a medal stand, returned to competition with a bang. He won gold in Division IA Men’s Foil and earned his A24 rating.
Bera earned bronze in Division IA Men’s Saber. His clubmate Ethan Kim joined him in fifth place.
Mankova took a sixth-place finish in Division IA Women’s Saber. Holly Buechel also finished in sixth place in the Division IA Women’s Epée event.
Congratulations fencers, coaches and their families.
