Milwaukee, WI (November, 2019) - Members of Tim Morehouse Fencing Club competed in the November NAC, the second North American Cup of the 2019-20 season. The four-day tournament took place at the Wisconsin Center and featured Junior, Cadet and Y14 events. Our fencers were accompanied by coaches Tim, Achiko, Diana, and Kendall.

TMFC fencers won two medals altogether, and achieved an additional three Top-16 finishes. Chelsea Delsoin won a Silver Medal in Youth-14 Women's Saber. Additionally, Finn Hossfeld won a Top-8 Medal in Junior Men's Foil, and earned his A19 rating!

Top-16 finishes were achieved by Josephine Chang in Cadet Women's Saber, Adele Bois in Cadet Women's Saber, and Madison Duckett in Youth-14 Women's Saber.

Suffern, NY (November, 2019) - TMFC fencers headed to the Thrust Fall ROC/RYC at the Rockland Community College. Our fencers achieved amazing results, bringing home 19 medal-wins. They were accompanied by our awesome coaches Ben, Fatima, Diana, Chris, Lancelot, Kendall, and Sally.

Our fencers won three medals in Division 1A Women's Saber! Adele Bois won a Bronze Medal, Chelsea Delsoin won a Bronze Medal, and Fiona Neibart won a Top-8 Medal.

This was a big weekend for our Y-8 fencers, who brought home five medals in Youth-8 Mixed Saber! Julia Harris won a Silver Medal, Morgan So won a Bronze Medal, and Timothy Chang, Zihou Dai, and Edward Ahn won Top-8 Medals.

Kansas City, MO (October, 2019) - TMFC Fencers headed to the Kansas City Convention Center to compete in this four-day North American Cup. The stakes were high, as this is a tournament attended by elite athletes including those competing for a spot on the U.S. Olympic team. Our fencers brought their A-game, achieving awesome results on the fencing strip. They were accompanied by our dedicated coaches - Coach Tim, Coach Achiko, Coach Ziad, and Coach Carlos.

Madison Duckett won a Silver medal in Division 2 Women's Saber and went from an E19 to a B19 rating. She is having an amazing season - she brought home three medals at the Ben Gutenberg Memorial SYC just one weekend ago.

Madison, NJ (October 2019) - TMFC Fencers headed to Drew University to compete the American Challenge ROC and RJC, a two-day tournament with 24 events in Foil, Epee, and Saber. They were accompanied by our excellent coaches Diana, Ziad, Lancelot, and Ben.

Our fencers accomplished awesome results, achieving nine medal wins altogether. Our students won two Gold Medals, one Silver Medal, four Bronze Medals, and two Top-8 Medals. TMFC Fencers have been training hard throughout the summer and fall, and it is certainly paying off.

Notably, our fencers won three medals in Vet-Combined Women's Saber, - a historic moment for our Adult Saber program. Lisa Marsh and Seunghee Schulze won Bronze Medals, and Amy Pinto came in 5th, achieving a Top-8 Medal.

TMFC Member and Coach Ziad Elsissy won a Gold medal in Division 1A Men’s Saber. This was his first competition representing Tim Morehouse Fencing Club!

Additionally, Amanda Li earned her C19 and a Bronze Medal in Junior Women's Saber. At just 13 years of age, this is an incredible achievement.

Hackensack, NJ (September 2019) - Epee, Foil, and Saber fencers from Tim Morehouse Fencing Club attended this two-day competition at the Rothman Center. 66 of our students participated, entering in 24 different events, and winning 18 medals altogether. With only a few weeks into the fall fencing season, TMFC fencers are achieving incredible results on the fencing strip.

Shaun Kim won a Gold Medal in Youth-12 Men’s Saber. Gabriel McCarthy won a Silver Medal in Youth-12 Men’s Saber. Bronze Medals were achieved by Nickolas Rusadze in Youth-12 Men’s Foil, Myles Duckett in Youth-12 Men’s Saber, Grace Hicks in Youth-14 Women’s Epee, Avi Krishna in Youth-10 Women’s Epee, Madison Four-Garcia in Division 1A Women’s Saber, and Jake McGillion-Moore in Division 1A Men’s Foil. Jake earned his A19 in this event.

Nowell Gibson Named to the All-Academic and the All-American First Team

New York, NY (June, 2019) - TMFC Fencer Nowell Gibson has been named to the 2018-19 USA Fencing All-Academic First Team and to the 2018-19 USA Fencing All-American First Team. The All-American Team recognizes high school fencers who have achieved a high level of success on the fencing strip. The All-Academic Team recognizes exemplary student athletes who have achieved high academic success in school. Nowell has qualified for both!

Nowell has been fencing at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club since January 2019. He attends the Epee Elite class and trains with the amazing Coach Alex. Nowell is currently competing at the USA Fencing National Championships.

Columbus, OH (June, 2019) - It’s only been three days since Summer Nationals kicked off on Friday, and our fencers from Tim Morehouse Fencing Club are already reaching incredible results. There are seven days remaining, and we can’t wait to see what will happen next!

In the past three days of competition, TMFC fencers achieved three Medals. Jonah Shainberg won a Gold Medal in Div 1 Men’s Saber, and Guga Lortkipanidze won a Top-8 Medal in Junior Men’s Saber. Additionally, the TMFC team won a Silver Medal in Senior Team Men’s Foil. The team consisted of Finn Hossfeld, Nathan Andrews, Jake Mcgillion-Moore, and Zachary Binder.
