Summer Nationals Day 3: Veteran Women's Saber, Junior Women's Saber, Foil and Epee

Philadelphia, PA (July 5, 2021) - It was a day of lessons and hard-earned experiences.

Day three at the Summer National Championships in Philadelphia kicked off with Veteran Women’s Saber and ended the day with Junior Women, with Senior Men’s Teams dropped in the middle.

TMFC foilist Christina Ferrari earned and 8th place medal in Junior Women and was awarded an A21 rating.

Tim Morehouse Coach Zaheer Booth hit the strip for Senior Team Men’s Saber, earning a third place medal with his team “The Boys,” that included Darren Yen, Dalton Walker and Kevin Zu.

Next up at Summer Nationals will be Junior Men and Junior Women Teams in all weapons — saber, épée and foil.

Summer National Championships and the July North American Cup runs from Saturday, July 3rd through Monday, July 12 at the Philadelphia Convention Center in the Market East section of Philadelphia, PA.

Tim Morehouse Fencing Club qualified and sent more than 60 fencers to compete in all three weapons from Y-12 to Veteran events.
