Bronxville's Miles Chambers is Racking Up Fencing Medals

Richmond, VA (March 4-7, 2022) — Miles Chambers is on a roll.

This competitive saber fencer, a native of Bronxville, is going to need a new place to store the tournament hardware he’s accumulated in the past few weeks.

First, Chambers rose to the top of the field in Y-10 Men’s Saber at the Winter Thrust tournament, taking gold. Two weeks later, he did it again, winning gold at the Duel of the East tournament in Y-10 Men’s Saber and a seventh-place medal in the Y-12 Men’s Saber event. He capped his recent run with an eighth-place medal in the Youth-10 event at the March North American Cup (NAC) this weekend in Richmond, VA.

Chambers trains at the Tim Morehouse Fencing Club (TMFC) in Port Chester, NY with former Olympian Tim Morehouse and Coach Hamdy. This weekend’s performance propelled Chambers to an 11th place ranking in the country in his age group.

Congratulations to Chambers, his parents, and his coaches.
